Project LIFE Pom GOZilla.PL „Implementation of the Waste Management Plan for the Pomorskie Voivodeship (PGOWP) taking into account the hierarchy of handling municipal waste and the principles of circular economy (GOZ)” is aimed to implement a Waste Management Plan for the Pomorskie Voivodeship that takes into account the waste hierarchy and the principles of circular economy (CE), i.e. reduce, reuse, recycle (3R), particularly in terms of rational municipal waste management.

Waste Management Plans (WMP) are developed by public administration authorities to support activities aimed at achieving the objectives and meeting the requirements resulting from the provisions of national and European Union (EU) law in the field of waste management and prevention of littering and pollution.

Samorząd Województwa Pomorskiego dnia 13 grudnia 2024 roku podpisał umowę z Komisją Europejską na realizację projektu pn. „Wdrożenie Planu Gospodarki Odpadami dla Województwa Pomorskiego (PGOWP)  uwzględniającego hierarchię sposobów postępowania z odpadami komunalnymi oraz zasady gospodarki cyrkularnej (GOZ)” (LIFE Pom GOZilla.PL).

Ponadto dnia 24 stycznia 2025 roku podpisana została umowa z Narodowym Funduszem Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej na dofinansowanie projekt LIFE Pom GOZilla.PL. Nazwa projektu: Wsparcie techniczne dla projektu pn. „Wdrożenie Planu Gospodarki Odpadami dla Województwa Pomorskiego (PGOWP)  uwzględniającego hierarchię sposobów postępowania z odpadami komunalnymi oraz zasady gospodarki cyrkularnej (GOZ)” (LIFE Pom GOZilla.PL) w ramach Programu LIFE na lata 2021 – 2027.

Akronim projektu: LIFE23-TAE-PL-LIFE Pom GOZilla TA

Cel projektu: przygotowanie pełnego wniosku na realizację projektu strategicznego LIFE pn.„Wdrożenie Planu Gospodarki Odpadami dla Województwa Pomorskiego (PGOWP)  uwzględniającego hierarchię sposobów postępowania z odpadami komunalnymi oraz zasady gospodarki cyrkularnej (GOZ)” (LIFE Pom GOZilla.PL).

Działania projektu: zewnętrzne zlecenie przygotowania dla projektu strategicznego wybranych punktów wniosku o dofinansowanie wraz z załącznikami, analiza danych pod kątem potrzeb i celów projektu.

Całkowita wartość projektu: 63 397,50 euro, dofinansowanie ze środków Unii Europejskiej 38 038,00 euro (60%), wkład własny Województwa Pomorskiego 25 359,50 euro (40%).

Project mail objective: submition of the full proposal with annexes (full proposal – stage 2) of the SIP entitled “Implementation of the Waste Management Plan for the Pomorskie Voivodeship (PGOWP) taking into account the hierarchy of handling municipal waste and the principles of circular economy (GOZ)” by 5 March 2024 under Call for Proposals No. LIFE-2023-STRAT-two-stage.

Project objectives:

• data preparation and analyses,
• commissioning an external company or experts to prepare selected items of the technical Part B of the full proposal,
• preparation and submission by 5 March 2024 of the full proposal with annexes.

Project total costs: 63 397,50 euro, grant amount KE 38 038,00 euro (60%), Pomorskie Voivodeship contribution 25 359,50 euro (40%).
