He is a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Gdansk University of Technology, postgraduate studies in management in health care and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdansk. He obtained the title of Master of Business Administration of the Gdansk Foundation for Management Development. From 2003, he was the director of the Specialist Hospital of J. K. Łukowicz in Chojnice.
