The voivodeship secretary – the director general of the office on behalf of the voivodeship marshal – ensures the proper functioning of the office.
He or she is responsible for implementing personnel policy and selecting employees, as well as improving their qualifications. Secretary is also responsible for supervising the handling of complaints and petitions submitted to the office. He or she supervises the disclosure of public information.
The office of the director general keeps records of complaints and motions submitted by voivodeship councilors and national delegations of office employees.
