Voivodeship Treasurer is responsible for the initial control of the compliance of economic and financial operations with the financial plan and the completeness and accuracy of documents. The treasurer’s duties include the execution of cash orders. He or she also performs periodic analyses of the voivodeship’s budget and keeps the management board informed of its implementation.

The treasurer is responsible for the correctness of the accounting of the voivodeship’s budget and the office. In addition, he participates in the work and deliberations of the voivodeship’s council and the management board in an advisory capacity and supervises the work of the Finance Department.
