The tasks of legal advisors include, in particular, providing opinions on the application of law, giving oral advice and information on the interpretation of legal norms, as well as reviewing draft contracts or draft resolutions of voivodeship’s authorities. In cases pending before common courts, administrative courts or in enforcement proceedings, they represent the voivodeship and the office.

In addition, legal advisors inform individual departments of the office about changes in legal regulations concerning the scope of their activities, provide legal services for meetings of the voivodeship’s council and, as necessary, also for voivodeship’s council committees and meetings of the voivodeship’s executive board.
