European Social Fund Department participates in the preparation of the regional operational program, manages it, and implements it. It defines the areas and detailed activities of the Pomeranian Voivodeship local government to support the development of our region.

The department conducts calls for proposals for co-financing projects related to social issues, so-called soft projects (people, training, further education, professional retraining, combating unemployment), evaluates them, organizes the selection of projects for co-financing, monitors their implementation, and orders payments from the European budget to beneficiaries.

It also prevents financial abuse and takes action to recover unduly paid amounts. European Social Fund Department conducts information and promotional activities for the Regional Operational Program and is responsible for activities related to ICT systems, including the application generator.
